Love or Infatuation

How do you really know the difference between love and infatuation?
They feelings are similar if not identical, they both make u crazy & makes you make choices you wouldnt make under similar circumstance, its makes you feel like youy can't win. If you aren't around the person your going crazy and if you are you are going crazy. It does'nt make any sense.
